The property is currently known as the William Finnie property, 506 E. Francis St. Mentions Mr. Bassett's land.

James Semple; son of Rev. James Semple, rector of St. Peter's Church. Born in James City County on 7 September 1768; educated at The College of William and Mary; Visitor, The College of William and Mary, 1803; member of General Assembly; Professor of Law, The College of William and Mary; Judge of the General Court.
