Document signed by James Semple, with a detailed description of land for sale in Williamsburg, and a sketch of the buildings on the lot. Houses were originally erected on the land by Dr. Pasteur. The property is currently known as the William Finnie property, 506 E. Francis St. Mentions Mr. Bassett's land.

James Semple; son of Rev. James Semple, rector of St. Peter's Church. Born in James City County on 7 September 1768; educated at The College of William and Mary; Visitor, The College of William and Mary, 1803; member of General Assembly; Professor of Law, The College of William and Mary; Judge of the General Court.
