Scope and content:

The Event files include planning documents related to hosted events held at the Executive Mansion. Some of the events covered in the records are the reception for Coretta Scott King, actor, Charlton Heston, and a Japanese Student Exchange group. Some of the other events planned included dinner for the host, cast and crew of the Bob Villa television show, documenting the renovations of the State Capitol. The exhibit files usually offer the following; several copies of guest lists, acceptance and declines, seating arrangements at functions and catering information. These records are part of accession 39023.
