This collection contains seven posters advertising the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Community parade sponsored by CARE Rockbridge. CARE is short for Community Anti-Racism Effort. The first parade was in 2017. The posters are dated 2017-2022. The design and printing of the 2017-2019 posters was done by Washington and Lee University alumna Amira Hegazi, Class of 2015. The 2022 poster was designed by Gaby Vazquez.

This legal document details the repayment of Trimble's debt to Trace Decker of Rockbridge County. Trimble did not write the document herself but instead signed the document with a mark.

This collection consists primarily of business papers of the family including sale lists, indentures, land surveys, deeds, wills, promissory notes, and numerous receipts. It also includes 71 photographs from the collection of Samuel W. McCown, Jr. (WLU 1919).

This collection includes two copies of a photograph taken by Lexington photographer Michael Miley. The images are mounted albumen prints that show a family posed in front of their log cabin with the western slopes of the House Mountains in the background. The photographs were taken by photographer Michael Miley from a ridge along the Midland Trail west of Lexington. The two prints have identical content, though one is a slightly larger than the other. One image is identified by the "M. Miley" blind stamp.

This collection includes information on Captain John McDowell's company and Captain John McKittrick's company.

This collection consists of two documents. One is an 1836 document to the stockholders of the Millsboro and Kerrs Creek Turnpike Company from the company's president Alexander T. Barclay. He provides background information, mentions accepting a proposal for making a road, tolls, and other business. There is also a letter written by John C. Bowyer to James Brown, Jr. of the Board of Public Works that serves as a report to the Board.
