The Greenwood Library Archives and Special Collections serve as the repository for the Farmville Prince Edward County Historical Society and the Moton Museum.

Delta Psi Kappa

The Delta Psi Kappa Collection, which ranges in date from 1901 to 2002, includes a variety of print materials, scrapbook materials, photograph albums with photographs and slides of sporting events, physical education classes, and social gatherings at Longwood College.

The materials in the collection include emails, letters, newspaper clippings, cassettes, VHS tapes, memorabilia (awards and medals), book reviews, photographs, memorandums, and ledgers. Materials in the collection relate to Martha Cook, the winners of the Dos Passos award, and/or the jurors who served on the Dos Passos Award Committee.

Doyne-Burger Funeral Home Obituary Scrapbooks. 2.54 Linear Feet 1 legal-sized archival box and 2 archival flat boxes

Doyne, J.T., Jr. (John Tucker)

The twelve scrapbooks in this collection, which date from 1939 to 1984, consist mostly of obituaries, clipped from newspapers, for people whose funerals were conducted by Doyne-Burger Funeral Home. One of the scrapbooks, which dates circa 1941 to 1945, is specifically devoted to Farmville and Prince Edward County servicemen who were injured or killed during World War II. This scrapbook also includes newspaper clippings related to the war as well as photographs of specific servicemen from Farmville and Prince Edward County.
