Background

Scope and content:

This collection includes College of Business and Economis department meeting minutes and alumni meeting minutes, emails, photographs, promotional materials, annual reports, digital materials, strategic plans, and materials related to Longwood's small business development center.

Biographical / historical:

The College of Business and Economics is accredited by the Asociation to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The College issues degrees in Business Administration and Economics, and includes several Masters of Business Administration degrees as well.

The College of Business and Economics hosted an "Executive-in-Residence" program founded sometime in the 1990s untill about 2016 which featured business executives. The program was designed to enrich the learning experience of business and economics students by fostering an dialogue with practicing business executives.

Custodial history:

This collection was donated by the College of Business and Economics at Longwood University in 2012 and 2014.
