Contains a variety of unidentifiable fragments and other items including letters, lists, and tax assessments that were most likely found loose inside of land tax and personal property tax volumes. The items appear to have been removed before conservation measures were taken sometime around 1940. Attempts were made to match some of the fragments with their original documents and other items are noted as being "duplicates" of existing information.

The Solicitor General records, 1764-1794, include accounts, correspondence, ledgers, letterbooks, returns and settlements.

The Board of Fisheries records include Horizontal Angle Books, 1901; Oyster Reports, 1898-1927; and Reports of Oyster Inspectors, 1898-1927. These records document surveys of oyster beds in Isle of Wight County, and the collection of fines, fees, and taxes by Inspectors of Oysters.

Commissioner for Commonwealth to Settle Claims with the United States Records, 1777-1795, are housed in two boxes and arranged alphabetically into two series. Series have been designated for Series I: Commissioner Records and Series II: Ledgers, Lists of Supplies Issued. Included are accounts, correspondence, ledgers, and vouchers relating to the Virginia Commission to Settle Claims with the United States arising from the Revolutionary War.

The records include accounts, bonds, ledgers, and returns detailing the costs to localities for caring for the mentally ill and reimbursement to them by the Virginia Auditor of Public Accounts.

Records, 1866-1879, including ledgers and reports detailing taxes collected on oyster farming submitted to the Auditor of Public Accounts. Includes license reports, lists of inspectors bills, accounts of renters, and lists of persons registered to catch oysters. The lists and reports include the name of captain/owner, name of vessel, where hailing from, class of vessels, rates, number of men, amount collected, water course, and amount of bushels collected. The lists of inspectors bills include costs for advertising, stamps, office building and supplies, and salaries for the inspectors. The records are divided into District I, II, and III.
