Material was collected by Rice and dates from the 1920s to 1960, with the bulk of the material dating from the 1920s to the 1930s.

  • Six items of correspondence (1930)
  • One two-volume diary (1930-1934)
  • One scrapbook from Davis' VMI cadetship (1930-1935). The scrapbook includes photographs, dance programs, and other VMI mementos.
  • Three scrapbooks that date from Davis' tour of duty in Korea (1951-1952). These scrapbooks contain clippings, military documents, and photographs. Some items date from when he was stationed at the United Nations Prisoner of War Camp Number One at Koje-do (now Geojedo), South Korea.
