Created in 1933, the map includes historical information from 1732-1832. It contains a brief history of the county surrounding the map, and on the map are identified locations for incidents of historical interest. The map is bordered by a list of names of men who, presumably, lived in the county. The bottom left corner contains a map of smaller scale, so one can find Augusta County in the context of the broader eastern seaboard of the United States.
