Norfolk County (Va.) Health and Medical Records, 1774-1905, consist of four folders: Mental Health Records, 1824-1891; Registers of Medical Professionals, 1909; Sanitary Inspectors' Reports, 1847-1885; and Smallpox Epidemic Records, 1774-1905.

Norfolk County (Va.) Daily Record of Providence (White) School No. 2, 1894-1897. The volume documents monthly attendance of students, age 5 to 16, and teachers at the Providence School, Washington District, Norfolk County. Attendance rolls include first and last names, age, and number of days attended each month.

Norfolk County (Va.) Free Negro Registers, 1809-1861. The collection contains a Register of Free Negroes and Mulattoes, 1809-1852 (Reel 133) and a Register of Free Negroes, 1852-1861 (Reel 105). The registers dcoument the name, and age of free negroes who registered with the county court from 1809 to 1861. Each entry also includes a brief physicial description and a reference to whether the person was born free, and where, or the circumstances of the person's emancipation. Additional information, such as names of spouses or parents or county of birth, is sometimes included.

Norfolk County (Va.) Judgment Suits, 1772-1773. Consists of four writs of CoSa (capias ad satisfaciendum), a judgment commanding the sheriff to imprison the defendant until the plaintiff's claim is satsified, from the cases Connar vs. Wallace, Mason vs. Hughes, Jackson vs. Millers, and Barrington vs. Portlock.

Norfolk County (Va.) Levy Book, 1753-1775 (bulk 1753-1768) contains information on the laying of public, county and parish levies in the county during the 18th century. The bulk of the volume, leaves one through 35, concerns public and county levies. The public levy involved both the payment of claims to public officials such as the clerk of the court, the sheriff and the secretary for the commissioner of the oyer and terminer court and individuals performing public services such as clearing the county of unwanted pests as evidenced by the wolf's head bounty. A court was called "for proof of public claims and for receiving and certifying propositions and grievances." Officiating individuals were noted.

Norfolk County (Va.) Lists of Tithables and Taxable Property, 1730-1785, consist of photostat images of the list of tithable heads of household for the years 1730 and 1785.

Norfolk County (Va.) Records, circa 1726-1936, undated, consist of the following series: Bonds/Commissions/Oaths, Marriage Records and Vital Statistics, Miscellaneous Records, Tax and Fiscal Records, Justice of the Peace Records, Military and Pension Records, Public Buildings and Grounds, County Administrative Records (subfield series include Commissioner of the Revenue Records, Overseers of the Poor Records and Treasurer's Records), Election Records, Organization Records, School Records, Wills, Court Records (subfield series include Judgments, Criminal Records and Clerks' Records) Fiduciary Records, Land Records and Business Records.

Norfolk County (Va.) Register of Convicts, 1870-1932, is a comprehensive list of "persons convicted of felony or other infamous offences" in the county. Based on a set form, the listings of each conviction include the individual's name in full and any aliases, the present and last known residence of the accused, the color or race of the individual (including white, black, brown, yellow and mulatto), the individual's height, eye color, hair color and any identifying marks, the apparent or known age of the accused, his or her occupation, the offence, the court in which convicted, the date of conviction and page of record and whether the judgment was reversed or pardon granted and date thereof. The volume has 148 pages. There is an internal index to the volume. The index is arranged alphabetically by the surname of the convict, A-Y. Instead of a court conviction, sometimes an individual was convicted by a Justice of the Peace.
