Nine stereoviews documenting the Civil War. One is from New York, five are from Virginia, two are from Charleston, South Carolina, and one is from an unknown location. The New York stereoview depicts the funeral procession for President Lincoln. The Charleston stereoviews depict ruins of a cathedral and tomb. The Virginia stereoviews depict images of various soldiers. Other stereoviews depict historical buildings and war images. An unidentified stereoview depicts a group of male laborers holding shovels.

The book is a collection of blog posts organized by year and season from spring 2011 to winter 2012/2013. The entries include photographs, mostly of nature, taken by the author. The last section of the book also contains a merchandise catalogue of the organization 'Unite Together'.

Photograph Collection of Military Life in Virginia 0.1 Linear Feet 1 legal sized folder.

This collection includes eighty two black and white photographs that depict American life at a military base in Virginia. Situated during the Korean War, these photographs mainly feature soldiers. However, couples, women, children, food preparation, and landscapes are also included in the collection. The collection belonged to a soldier stationed at Fort Lee and Fort A. P. Hill in Virginia in 1950. The photos were likely taken by a member of the Quartermaster Corps.

The collection documents various photographs from World War II, the Vietnam War, and the Civil Rights Era. Although there are many photographers involved in this collection, most notable are Paul Almasy, Leonard Freed, Dmitri Baltermants, and Horst Tappe. The focus of this collection is on what life looked like around the world during this period and the various hardships that were endured during wartime.
