This collection includes correspondence between Robert Henry Tucker and Washington and Lee University presidents Henry Louis Smith, Francis Pendleton Gaines, and Fred C. Cole regarding university matters. It also contains information about Tucker's tenure as chairman of the Industrial Commission of Virginia (1918-1919) and his work with the Virginia State Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.

Includes articles, speeches, lectures, reports and other writings concerning Virginia state and local government, tax reform, education, highways, economics, and Washington and Lee University. Most of the material is undated.

This collection consists of items related to Robert N. Smith, including photographs, letters, and unit newspapers dating from his service overseas in World War II with Company M, 255th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Division. This collection also includes a cadet scrapbook (1946-1950) that is largely newspaper clippings.

Includes VHS tapes of commencement addresses, clips from CBS, NBC, THC and PBS (MacNeil/Lehrer News Hour), personal appearances and professionally produced tapes narrated by Mudd. Especially notable are the video series entitled Great Minds in American History, Learning in America, Inside the Presidency, and Making History with Roger Mudd. Some of the clippings and tapes were used for Mudd's journalism classes at Princeton University and Washington and Lee University. Collection also includes day by day coverage of the U. S. Congressional journey of the 1964 Civil Rights legislation.

A collection of two hundred and twenty-one letters sent to Rosalie White Irwin, a resident of Richmond, Virginia, dated from 1937 to 1950. Most of the letters included are from a variety of male admirers or boyfriends, including her future husband, Ted. The men are all serving in the army at the end of World War II and in the years following. Their letters provide descriptions of army and camp life both at home and abroad in India, the Philippines, Australia, Japan, and the South Pacific. Interspersed are letters from female friends. These letters cover a variety of topics including daily life and career choices that the women are pursuing; one woman in particular writes about serving as an operating room nurse at a veteran's hospital.

Collection includes letters, citations, scripts of plays, photographs, slides and videos concerning Rosa Marie Fuller's teaching career and James A. Fuller's employment with the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and his service with the Boy Scouts.
