This collection consists of the papers (30 items) of Robert E. B. Stewart. The collection includes a notebook containing orations delivered before VMI cadet debating societies, drawings completed as class assignments at VMI, and a few clippings concerning his life after he left the Institute.

Smith, including photographs, letters, and unit newspapers dating from his service overseas in World War II with Company M, 255th Infantry Regiment, 63rd Division. This collection also includes a cadet scrapbook (1946-1950) that is largely newspaper clippings.

This collection contains three manuscript notebooks that include verse letters, poetry, notes, and a few newspaper clippings (bulk 1861-1865). One of the volumes is titled "Order Book, 9th Regiment Va. Volunteers, Craney Island." On the endsheets of this book are glued original manuscript signatures of VMI faculty and others, likely clipped from letters. The pages of this volume contain Sara Henderson Smith's writings.

Scrapbook, visit to the Philippines

This scrapbook contains photographs and clippings that document Charles E. Kilbourne's return visit to the Philippines at age 82. It contains a handwritten foreword (available online) written by Kilbourne in which he details his long relationship with the Philippine Islands during his United States Army career and his role in the creation of the Correidor tunnel system (Malinta Tunnel).
