Includes genealogical notes, history of post offices in York County, Virginia, a record of Revolutionary War claims by York County inhabitants, history of the Grafton Baptist Church, Methodism in York County, Virginia, a map of the Jamestown Exposition grounds in Norfolk, Virginia, copies (only a few pages) from the Abingdon Parish Register, the Kingston Parish Register, and the Northumberland County Order Book.

This collection is formed of materials created by the First Baptist Church of Williamsburg, dating from the mid-1800s to the present day. Inculded in this collection are church records such as member rolls, meeting minutes, photographs, bibles, building blueprints, and audio visual materials.

Collection contains printed materials, photographs, and church-related documents related to Georgia Ragsdale Curtis of Roanoke, Virginia and her family including her sister Laura Ragsdale Barnett. The earliest materials include a 1912 handwritten diary of a Ragsdale family member. The papers in the collection include newspaper clippings of family obituaries, family funeral service programs, family photographs, civil rights related papers and magazines, Addison High School and Patrick Henry High School papers and yearbooks related to Georgia's career as a teacher, and several papers related to the Blue Ridge Baptist Church of Roanoke, Virginia which Georgia was very involved with from at least 1966 until her death in 2008.

Copies of death records from the Jerusalem Baptist Church, an African American church near Five Forks in James City County, Virginia. One folder of records dates from 1908-1940s. Original in the hands of the three remaining members of the Church including Mary Howard as of 1986.

Two record books from Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, a historical African American church located in Evington, Virginia. One book is titled "Records" on the cover, the other reads "Ledger." These two books contain meeting minutes, business expenses, and sermon attendees.
