Scope and content:

Barrackville High School yearbook "The Alpha" (1935). In addition to being a yearbook for the class of 1935, this volume also contains historical sketches. There are histories of: the class of 1935, student body presidents, Barracksville High School (1910-1935), school building, Barracksville elementary schools, first slaves in the community, churches, Bethlehem Mine No. 41, and other subjects. There are lists of teachers and graduates over many years. There are also a few photographs. The town of Barrackville is located in Marion County, West Virginia.
