Background

Scope and content:

Collection of ten scrapbooks documenting the various West Virginia chapters of Alpha Delta Kappa, and international honorary organization of women educators. Scrapbooks originate from the Past State President's Archives and date from 1986-2004. They contain photographs of officers and events as well as programs and newspaper clippings. Also included in collection are two framed artworks, one a drawing of Jan Hackney (1990) and one a logo used by Hackney (2000-2002).

Addendum of 2024 June 5 includes two scrapbooks documenting Catherine Perry's term as West Virginia State President of Alpha Delta Kappa (2008-2010). One scrapbook focuses on the individual West Virginia state chapters, and the other focuses on the various events Perry attended during her term.
