Personal and genealogical papers of the Dean of the WVU College of Engineering from 1911 to 1932. The papers deal with academic pursuits including the controversy over the reorganization of the Engineering College in 1931-32, and his social and professional activities. Four boxes contain genealogical notes and history on some of the first Ohio Valley families including the Wickliffe, Harden, Monroe, Gambrill, and Jones families.
