Collection includes:

1) letter from Union soldier W. Fleming in Clarksburg (spelled "Clarksburgh") to Mrs. Elizabeth Fleming of Shinnston (mother) regarding troop movement to Beverly and personal matters at home (one leaf, on stationary with graphic of soldier, 20 September [no year])

2) Confederate bond issued to James M. Beckham for the amount of $500, assigned to J.R. Ervin of Bath County, Virginia (1864)

3) financial agreement between Jonathan Jackson, father of "Stonewall" Jackson, and Peter Eile, both of Harrison County, for payment of three dollars and sixteen cents with interest (1821)
