Letters from "Aunt Mabel" in Coal Center, Pennsylvania to Mabel Horn in Clarksville, Pennsylvania. Topics include: arthritis, cooking, death, family, gardening, health, holidays, meals, "presents for pop," produce, reunions, weather, and working, among others. There are also a few letters from other people. Places mentioned include: Clarksville, Coal Center, Jefferson, Rices Landing, and Washington, Pennsylvania. There are three photographs: 1) group portrait of students and teacher at school in Clarksville (ca. 1900, 6 in. x 8 in.); 2) group portrait of "Grable Reunion" (ca. 1920, 7 in. x 26 in.); 3) unidentified photo, appears to be a G.A.R. reunion, perhaps with Grable family members (ca. 1895, 7 1/2 in. x 9 1/2 in.).
