Abstract:
This collection contains a pamphlet and correspondence. Included is a typed copy of the oral account of Jacob Anderegg's life story. "Some Recollections from the life of Jacob Anderegg." Anderegg, born in Switzerland, 1851 July 12, immigrated to the United States on 1871 September 16 and became a settler of Helvetia, WV. Correspondence are by and to David Sutton, village historian for Helvetia, WV. These correspondence relate to Sutton's attempts to acquire the original handwritten version of "Some Recollections from the life of Jacob Anderegg."
