Background

Scope and content:

The Wytheville Building and Land Fund Association Reocords (Association), found amongst the papers of attorney Thomas Walk of Wytheville, consist of three items including a bond between I. J. Miller and the Association for $150 and dated 10 September 1904.

Also included is a bond, dated 11 August 1908, between J. D. Austin, Granville Miller, Emmett Carter, E. D. Gilmer, and R. H. Holliday and the Association for $150.

Lastly, also included is a receipt dated 14 January 1924 issued to the Association by John Sale, Auditor of Public Accounts for the Commonwealth of Virginia, for a registration fee of $10 and franchise fee of $20.
