Collection contains two items from Williamsburg Confederate Memorial Dedication event on May 5th 1908. One is a xerographic copy of a program listing the order of activities at the event. The other item is a photograph depicting Confederate Civil War veterans and others gathered in front of the monument.
- Biographical / historical:

The Confederate Monument in Williamsburg, VA was erected in 1908 by the United Daughters of the Confederacy. It was dedicated "To the Confederate Soldiers and Sailors of Williamsburg and James City County." It was permanently removed in 2020.
