There are two account books, 1885-1900, of Baber's Store in Howardsville, Albemarle County, Virginia. The first is a ledger, 1885, with an index in the front. Ledger entries are followed by cash sales for 1893. The second is a ledger, 1899-1900, with an index in the front. (Please note that these ledgers are in extremely poor condition, with a portion of the pages in an advanced stated of deterioration.)
