Scope and content:

This collection contains five account books (1842-1886) of Dr. W. B. Pendleton. These ledgers list patient names, medications, procedures, amounts charged and dates. Assorted business papers and a fragment of a speech (ca. 1905), removed from the ledgers, are located in a file folder.

Acquisition information:

The collection was purchased April 20, 1939, from the Richmond Antique Shop in Richmond, Virginia.
