Henry] Harper, [Stephen Ryder] Fiske, [Thomas] Hardyagreement on the dramatization of Tess of the D'Urbervillesis; says that his son, Lorimer Stoddard, who is sick in a sanitorium in New York, dramatized the novel and gave Fiske the right to present it in England; says that Fiske refuses, or neglects, to enlighten Lorimer; Stoddard says he would not betray confidence.]
