Biographical / historical:

The Uniform Law Commission is composed of lawyers from all of the states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands. These commissioners work together to propose uniform state laws in areas where uniformity is desirable. Professor H. Lane Kneedler served as a Virginia state representative to the commission.

Acquisition information:
This collection was given to the Law School in October of 1985 by professor H. Lane Kneedler, a state representative to the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws.
