There are no restrictions on access to the matriculation book and metal die. The Law Library must make the book available to students, staff, and faculty of the University of Virginia School of Law for relevant events. Also, the Library must also make the book available for students to sign.

This collection consists of a matriculation book and a metal die that was used to stamp the logo on the book cover. Starting with the class of 2026, students at the University of Virginia School of Law sign their names in the book.
- Acquisition information:
- In the 2023-2024 school year, members of the first-year class of the University of Virginia School of Law participating in the Community Fellows Program commissioned the matriculation book. Working with School of Law staff members, the students hired Yolanda Merrill to produce the book. In December 2024, the Arthur J. Morris Law Library acquired the completed book and metal die.
