This addition to MSS 5520, Albemarle Garden Club records (Periwinkle Cottage), contains one thumb drive with text description of the Garden Club of America's Garden History & Design Committee, 2016 (incl. planting lists, licenses, copies of articles, and possibly photos) and one folder labeled AGC Periwinkle Cottage 2017, Albemarle Garden Club Zone VII, Periwinkle garden Submission 2017. The folder contains miscellaneous papers and one disc labeled "Smithsonian Archives of American Gardens: Periwinkle Cottage Garden," containing photos and captions.

The Albemarle Garden Club, founded in 1913 in Charlottesville, Virginia, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the knowledge and love of gardening, environmental conservation, and community beautification. It's affiliated with both the Garden Club of Virginia (GCV) and the Garden Club of America (GCA). The club has a rich history, including its role in the founding of the GCV and its contributions to Historic Garden Week
