Scope and content:

Frances Hilt attended Radford College from 1941-45 and kept scrapbooks that detailed the social and academic life of a Radford College student during the Second World War. The scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, dance cards, WWII ration cards, dormitory regulations, programs from college and religious programs, information about efforts to support the war effort by Radford students, class assignment cards, information about the 1944 merger of Radford College with Virginia Tech,and assorted Alumni Reunion information from 2005. Four copies of the Beehive yearbook (1941-45) are also included and contain notes and annotations from Mrs. Hilt's friends.
