Deals with legacy left her by brother George William Fairfax (d. 1787) -- declines to pay any debts against Mrs. Mildred Washington Bushrod's (d. 1785) estate -- her husband (Warner Washington, 1722-1790) was not a legatee -- her children were, but they are married. Autograph letter signed, incomplete watermark. Name on original manuscript appears as "H. Washington."
