The photograph shows Runkle family members in the foreground of their 19th century brick federal style brick home. Outbuildings are visible in the background. People in the image include John Alexander Runkle and his wife Annie Ardelia Arehart Runkle with daughters Maggie, Katherine. Sons David and Stuart could also be in the image.
