Scope and content:

This collection consists of an 8 x 11 black and white image of the congregation of the Chestnut Grove Church, which was an outpost church of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church of Rockbridge County, Va. Included are the identifications of the members as well as a small photocopy of the front of the church. Surnames include Thurston, Weeks, Johnson, Hotinger, Logan, Plogger, Robinson, and Miller. The image was taken about 1946.
