This collection consists of three original photographs, one postcard, and one copy of a postcard of the bronze Stonewall Jackson statue at his grave site at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery in Lexington, Va. The statue, designed by Edward V. Valentine of Richmond, Va., was unveiled on July 21, 1891. One of the original photos is a cabinet photograph by Lexington, Va. photographer Michael Miley, c. 1891-1900, one looks to be of four Washington and Lee University students standing by the grave, c. 1910-1920, one is a late 20th century black and white photograph by an unknown photographer, and the color postcard is c. 1965.
