The collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, and approximately 50 humorous photos from five plays(Iolanthe, H.M.S. Pinafore, Pirates of Penzance, Mikado, and Patience) put on by FROGS. It also includes programs as well as script and casting information used by the individuals putting on the plays.

Friends and relations of Gilbert and Sullivan (FROGS) was founded in 1963 by Lt. George Atkins, a VMI graduate who fulfilled a one-year position in the Chemistry Department. The first production was in March of 1964.
