This collection consists of a manuscript copy of Joseph E. Johnston's General Order No. 18, dated April 27, 1865, a letter dated January 24, 1884 written by Johnston to possibly James F. Rogers, and an autographed photograph of Johnston.
Johnston's General Order No. 18 deals with the cessation of hostilities at the end of the Civil War. The letter concerns letters from Robert E. Lee.
