This collection consists of 8 pages from Neblett's account book where he recorded his expenses while a student at Washington College.
- Biographical / historical:

Neblett was born June 9, 1839 and died Oct 11, 1911. He was the son of Dr. Sterling and Ann MacFarland Neblett from Brickland, Lunenburg County, Virginia. He married Fannie Matthews on Aug 15, 1872. They had 10 children, one of whom is Judge Collin Neblett.

- Gift of the children of Nannie Sterling Neblett Chambers, who was the daughter of Norman MacFarland Neblett, in 1981.

- These eight pages have been removed from their original binding and show some wear around the edges but are otherwise in generally good condition.
