This speech was written and given by James Horace Lacy II during his time as a student at Washington College. He addresses George Washington's role as a leader of the country.

Acquisition information:
Gift of Mrs. C. Morton Hanna. It previously belonged to her grandfather Rhodes Massie who taught at Washington College while Robert E. Lee was serving as president.
