Background

Scope and content:

This collection includes prints and negatives of the Robertson family as well as their home, family trips, Boy Scouts, Washington, D.C., and cousin Gordon Walker at Virginia Military Institute.

Biographical / historical:

Absalom Willis Robertson was a senator from Virginia (1946-1966). His son, Marion Gordon 'Pat' Robertson, graduated from Washington and Lee University in 1950 and is a well-known minister and televangelist in Virginia.
