The collection consists of photographs of the VMI Class of 1949A during their time as cadets (three items), Stanley Millimet's framed diploma, an album of photographs from the 50th reunion of the Class of 1949A, photographs of the statue of Stonewall Jackson on VMI Post (two items), and framed VMI themed artwork (two items).
Also included in the collection are Millimet's citations for his promotion to Second Lieutenant (1948) and Colonel (1971) in the United States Army, his master's thesis from the Air Force Institute of Technology (1967) and Army distinctive unit insignia pins (11 items) for the units in which he served.
- Biographical / historical:

Stanley Millimet (1928-2013) graduated from the VMI as a member of the Class of 1949A and received a commission as a second lieutenant in the United States Army. He was named the key logistician in the Department of the Army in 1970, and he commanded a tank battalion from 1970 to 1971. Millimet retired from the Army in 1971 with the rank of Colonel.
