Background

Scope and content:

This collection consists primarily of Marshall K. Berry's incoming and outgoing correspondence, the bulk of which dates from the period of his cadetship (1917-1921). Included are letters to and from his parents, which include many reference to VMI activities.

Biographical / historical:

Marshall Keith Berry (1899-1985) graduated from VMI in 1921. While at VMI, he served as editor of the 1921 yearbook. He spent his career as a bank president and community leader in Vernon, Texas.
