This collection consists of papers (approximately 50 items) that document the United States Marine Corps career of William G. McClure, Jr., VMI Class of 1943. The bulk of this collection is concerned with his active duty service during World War II, when he served with the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific and was awarded the Purple Heart.
