Scope and content:

This collection consists of the papers from the military career of Thomas St. J. Arnold with most items dating from World War II (1939-1945). The collection includes operational reports of the 92nd Infantry Division, maps, photographs, and correspondence.

Biographical / historical:

Thomas St. John Arnold was born in 1913 in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from VMI in 1935. From 1936 to 1967 he was an United States Army Officer. After his military career, Arnold was a banker.
