Background

Scope and content:

This collection contains four citations (1967-1968) awarded to Captain Thomas T. Oliver. Included are the Purple Heart, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, and Bronze Star. This collection also includes letters of condolence sent to Oliver's mother.

Biographical / historical:

Thomas T. Oliver graduated from VMI in 1963 and was killed in action in Vietnam on February 7, 1968.
