Scope and content:

This collection (15 items) consists of:

  • One ring binder scrapbook containing clippings, correspondence, and programs related to the establishment of the first varsity lacrosse team at VMI (1948-1950)
  • Nine photographs of the team and team members. These items were donated by team member Francis (Frank) L. Boehm (VMI Class of 1950B).
  • Correspondence (5 items) donated by Walter L. Richards (VMI Class of 1941).
