Background

Scope and content:

This collection consists of one document that lists clothing for VMI Cadet Phillip H. Lybrook. The letterhead on the document reads "A.M. Lybrook, Attorney at Law."

Biographical / historical:

Phillip Hardin Lybrook was born in 1868 in Patrick County, Virginia. He graduated VMI in 1889 and went on to become a tobacco businessman and a postmaster. Lybrook died in 1901 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
