Scope and content:

This collection consists of one VMI scrapbook (1918-1922) compiled by Nathan H. Nelson. The scrapbook contains photographs, clippings, mementos, and a few annotations by Nelson.

Biographical / historical:

Nathan Henry Nelson was born in 1902 in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated VMI in 1922. From 1942 to 1944 he was a 1st Lieutenant with the United States Coast Artillery Corps. He was also a businessman. Nelson died in 1972 in Long Island, New York.
