The "Mardi Gras" movie collection includes two scripts (first draft and shooting final), approximately 150 still black and white photos from the production, and other memorablia related to the movie.
This file contains candid snapshots taken at VMI as well as Mardi Gras parade memorabilia.
- Biographical / historical:

"Mardi Gras" (20th Century Fox, 1958) was the second movie to feature VMI (the first was "Brother Rat," see MS-0005).
Thomas A. Whalen (VMI Class of 1961) was a rat and member of the regimental band during the time that "Mardi Gras" was filmed.
