Scope and content:

This collection consists of one letter (dated December 5, 1890) from Cadet John Naylor to his father, in which he complains about the character of his roommates and asks to be moved to a different room.

Biographical / historical:

John Carson Naylor was from Baltimore, Maryland. He was VMI cadet for one year (1890 to 1891) as a member of the Class of 1894. No birth or death dates are currently known.
