Scope and content:

This collection consists of a VMI scrapbook compiled by Alfred C. Schmidt during his cadetship (1919-1923). The scrapbook includes photographs, clippings, dance and finals programs, and classnotes and exercises.

Biographical / historical:

Alfred Clarence Schmidt (1901-1976) graduated from VMI in 1923 and went on to become a United States Naval officer.
