Three documents related to George E. Whitesel's Golden Scotch Collie dog breeding operation based out of Horse Shoe Spring Farm in Mt. Crawford, Virginia. The collection includes two pieces of printed marketing ephemera promoting the key attributes of Collies and positive reviews from Whitesel's customers. A letter, dated April 24, 1946 from George E. Whitesell to J. A. House, a prospective client, details the price of Whitesel's Collies including males, spayed females, as well as a "saucy female" which are all priced according to their white markings.
