An April 10, 1907 stock certificate for the Rockingham Mutual Telephone and Telegraph Company issued to George N. Wise. The certificate is signed by the company's secretary, David C. Acker, and president, Charles H. Rolston. The certificate is for one share.

Biographical / historical:

The Rockingham Mutual Telephone and Telegraph Company incorporated in 1898 and dissolved in 1958. At the time the stock certificate was issued, David C. Acker (1869-1959) was the company's secretary and Charles H. Rolston (1860-1934) was president.
